GENERAL INFORMATION ON POSTGRADUATE PROGRAMS
January 2001 marked the start of postgraduate programs at the Open University of Tanzania.
There are twenty five (26) different postgraduate programs currently being offered by the five faculties (Arts and Social Sciences, Business Management, Education, Law and Science, Technology and Environmental Studies).
All postgraduate programs are coordinated by the Directorate of Research and Postgraduate Studies.
TYPES OF PROGRAMS BEING OFFERED
The Open University offers three types of postgraduate programs:
Postgraduate Diplomas (2 Programs)
Master’s Degrees (19 Programs)
Doctor of Philosophy or Ph. D (5 Programs)
