The ICE was Established under the Goverment Notice No.159,published on 26th July 1996. Currently,it is operating under the University Act No7 of 2005. ICE is the armof the OUT for developing,promoting and undertaking the provision of continuing lifelong learning through the open and distance learning(ODL) mode.
