The Bachelor of Human Resource Management (BHRM) course is designed to meet the need to formally focus our quality economic development on the period . It is a Three years course.

Applicant should fulfil the following conditions

Certificate of secondary education examination (C.S.E.E) or east Africa certificate of education (ordinary level) or equivalent with passes in four approved subject, obtained prior to the sitting of the advanced certificate of secondary Education Examination (A.C.S.E.E) or equivalent

Either
Two principal level passes in advanced certificate of secondary education examination (A.C.S.E.E.) or equivalent where the
Or
An appropriate equivalent Diploma/Certificate approved by the senate of the open university of Tanzania. (The sum of points in Diploma must be 3.0 and above
Duration
The course shall be completed in three years in all modes. However a student can extend to a maximum of eight years for a distance mode.
The programme structure has three levels. Each level is equivalent to two academic years, assuming an average learner. Details of the courses in each level are provided in the table below

- Registration fees, student organization fees, identity fee, and quality assurance fees are paid during registration.
- Tuition fee is paid on instalment dependents on the number of units the student intend to study in a particular academic year

The programme aims to give students an opportunity to acquire knowledge and skills in the area of human resource management. Upon completion of the programme student may find employment in fields such as; Human Resources Manager, Benefits Specialist, Compensation Manager, Personnel Recruiter, Training Specialist etc. Upon completion and passing all courses and field practical, a student will be awarded a Bachelor of Human Resources Management degree of the Open University of Tanzania.
All courses are examined during the academic year in which they are studied
Examination consist of one timed test and written examination
- Test account for 30%
- Written examination account for 70%
