The department of Training and Consultancy in the Institute of Educational and Management Technologies of the Open University of Tanzania  is responsible in training ICT courses ranging from end Users skills to Diploma  in Computing and Information Communication Technologies. The Institute has established 13 community ICT laboratories for training purposes in Regions namely; Dar es salaam, Mwanza, Kagera, Shinyanga, Kigoma, Singida, Iringa, Mbeya, Rukwa, Katavi, Mtwara, and Zanzibar.

The department Provides ICT courses with the aim of increasing the access to ICT education to large number of students and professional simultaneously in various learning centre countrywide.
